A week in Vegas followed by a week in Detroit for two of the largest shows of the year… this fortnight takes years off my life, but it’s worth it!
After set up in Detroit, I needed to relax. I needed calmness. I needed a club sandwich. The Cobo Center has much better dining options then the Las Vegas Convention Center and fortunately there were ample selections available to quench my exhaustion.
I was beyond excited seeing the “Detroit Made Market” club sandwich at the cafeteria. I knew this was my moment of zen.
For better or worse, this club sandwich was as cold as the air outside, perhaps something the locals enjoy. Decent bacon but the turkey was a bit too ham-like, which an odd texture and taste. This sandwich could’ve used more tomato, but finding veggies in Detroit was a difficult challenge I was already aware of. Pleasantly easy to hold in one hand as I typed notes on my computer in the other, Cobo Center’s Club Sandwich is a great “to go meal” if your expectations are low and all you want is something delicious to take with you in a hurry. The sandwich said it contained regular bacon but it must’ve been like candy bacon or something. The honey baked ham bacon of sorts… as crazy as that sounds.
And we were off! Taking Detroit by storm and winning #1 eMobility product at the largest auto show in North America.
